ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
Major Duties (Job Description)
- You will provide Center personnel with functional and technical support for the MM module’s procurement-related transactions.
- You will contain the functionality for the procurement of goods and services to meet the organization’s requirement by with the recording of Purchase Requisitions (PR) (commitment of funds), PR Workflow Approvals etc.
- You will execute and review routine system-canned reports, monitor and categorize incoming User Helpdesk tickets/requests for assistance, and resolve routine tickets/inquiries submitted by users.
- You will be assigned to complete intermediate-to-complex matters are referred to team lead or supervisor to provide assistance and serve as developmental cross training
- You will maintain training registry and attendance for in-person and virtual training sessions and learn entry-level Navy ERP system transactions and procurement business rules.
- You will complete assigned tasks independently with constant oversight from a senior employee to ensure learning of new tasks, be receptive to being mentored, and work with others to accomplish multiple, interrelated tasks.
Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band NO-01 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Perform routine-to-complex data analysis and presenting and defending the documented results, demonstrates experience in arriving at and providing recommendations for improvement of procedures based on analyzed data.
